History

In 1963in June of this year, Mr.Mitsuo Nakamura started an individual enterprise Asahi Shokai for the manufacture of fire safes and transport business of heavy weight cargo,in Tokyo.
In 1968in March, he organized Asahi Safe Co., as president.
In 1973in December, he closed Asahi Safe Co. and established a new safe company named Eiko Kogyo Co.,Ltd with a capital of 5 million Yen.
In 1974in April, he built a factory to manufacture small sized fire resistant safes, in Daigo-machi, Kuji-gun, Ibaraki-Ken.
In 1975in April, the capital of the above Campany was increased to ten million Yen. in December, the capital  was increased to fifteen million Yen. 
In 1976in Feburary, the capital was increased to twenty million Yen.  in July, the above was approved as a JIS authorized factory. 
in September, a sales office in Tokyo, and in November opened a sales office in Sapporo City in Hokkaido.
In 1978in March, the capital was increased to ¥26,500,000.- and opened Osaka office in April.
in October, the capital was increased to ¥35,000,000.-
In 1979in January, the capital was increased to ¥45,000,000.- in May, the capital was increased to ¥55,000,000.-
in June, the head office was moved to the present location of 336-1,Yata, Daigo-machi, Kuji-gun, Ibaraki-ken.
in October, the capital was increased to ¥57,150,000.-
in December, a new office room and engineering development center
were completed at the site of Factory No.2.
In 1980in April, the capital was increased to ¥77,150,000.- Sendai branch office was also opened. in October, the capital was increased to ¥99,950,000.-
Fukuoka branch office was also opened.
In 1981in August, Nagoya branch office was also opened. in October, Factory No.3 was newly built.
In 1982in December, Warehousing and Distribution Center building was completed.
In 1983in September, Niigata branch office was also opened.
in December, absorbed YAMADA SAFE CO.,LTD (the oldest safe company in Japan established in 1875) and the capital was also increased to ¥133,950,000.- 
In 1984in Feburary, a new building was completed as Engineering Development Laboratory. Eiko Safe was amalgamated by Eiko Yamada the capital was increased to ¥250,000,000.- 
In 1985in March, a new joint-venture factory for safe was established with Thai
Union Steel Co.,Ltd. in the suburbs of Bankok,Thailand, whose name is Leerungruang Steel Co.,Ltd. (called"LEECO")
In 1986in January, Mr, Taizo Nakamura took office newly as president and the
capital was increased to ¥300,000,000.- 
In 1987in June, the capital was increased to ¥400,000,000.-
In 1988in September, computer on-line system was operated between head
office and branch offices.
In 1989in September, Himeji branch office was opened.
In 1993in February, rental of burglary safe was begun.
In 1995in August, sale of security goods like body armor, alarm etc was begun.
In 1996in March, special body armors were delivered to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
in August, Sappro factory was established for custom made steel funiture for office, store, home etc.
In 2000in April, sale of commercial safes with compensation was begun.
In 2001in August, LEECO Thailand was certified to conform to ISO 9001.
In 2002in June, for increase of necessity, 2nd factory was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
in July, Eiko Japan was certified to conform to ISO 9001.
Furnace for JIS fire test was completed in factory.
In 2005in December, head office building was moved to the new head office building in Sumida-ku, Tokyo.
In 2007in April, Daigo factory was approved as a NEW JIS autorized factory and No.4 factory equipped with powder painting facility was newly built.
in August, Eiko was amalgamated with Kencho Co.,Ltd and Kencho division was started.
In 2011in May, for increase of necessity, 3rd factory was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2014in January, the capital was changed to ¥100,000,000.-
In 2015in May, Akihabara showroom was opened in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
In 2016in April, Daigo factory was rebuilt.
In 2017in January, a new office and a sales office in Daigo factory were built.
In 2023in November, a new distribution center was built next to Daigo factory.
In 2024in September, the showroom was moved to new location of Okachimachi in Taito-ku, Tokyo.
